GoVenue Guarantee – Book Venues with Confidence


The GoVenue Guarantee is our commitment to ensuring that every venue booking you make through GoVenue is secure, transparent, and hassle-free. As the world's first dedicated venue marketplace, GoVenue provides peace of mind by ensuring every booking meets your expectations or issues are swiftly resolved.
How Does the GoVenue Guarantee Work?
When you book a venue through GoVenue, you pay a simple 10% GoVenue Guarantee fee, clearly included in the total booking price. This fee covers comprehensive support and dispute resolution, protecting your booking from common issues and giving you the confidence that your reservation is safeguarded.
What Does the GoVenue Guarantee Cover?
Your booking is protected against:
- Venue Availability: Ensuring your venue is open and accessible at the booked time.
- Accuracy of Listings: The venue must match its advertised description, including photos and detailed information.
- Amenities and Facilities: All essential amenities and facilities listed must be functional and available during your booking.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Venues must meet basic standards of cleanliness and safety, providing a comfortable and secure environment.


How Do I Raise an Issue?
If you encounter any problems during your booking, we encourage you to first contact your Host directly through the GoVenue messaging system within 48 hours of your booking’s end. Most issues can be quickly and amicably resolved directly with the Host.
However, if the issue cannot be resolved within 48 hours, you can escalate it directly to the GoVenue Resolution Team:
- Log into your GoVenue account.
- Navigate to the relevant booking.
- Click on "Report an Issue" and clearly describe the issue, providing supporting evidence (photos, screenshots, detailed explanations).
How Does GoVenue Resolve Disputes?
Once escalated, the GoVenue Resolution Team reviews all provided information thoroughly. We promise a fair and unbiased review process, issuing a final decision within 72 hours.
This decision is binding for both the Guest and Host. Failure by either party to adhere to this decision may result in removal from the GoVenue marketplace.
Refunds and Cancellations
- If a Host cancels the booking at any time, the Guest will receive a full refund, including the GoVenue Guarantee fee.
- If a Guest cancels their booking more than 7 days before their booking date, they will receive a full refund minus the GoVenue Guarantee fee.
- If a Guest cancels within 7 days of their booking date, the refund will be subject to the individual Host’s cancellation terms and conditions.The GoVenue Gurantee fee will not be refunded.
The GoVenue Guarantee specifically covers the areas mentioned above and does not include voluntary cancellations or changes initiated by Guests.

Here's an example to clarify how the GoVenue Guarantee fee works:
* Venue hire charge: £100
* GoVenue Guarantee fee (10%): £10
* Total cost to Guest: £110
* Amount received by Host: £100

Finalising Your Booking
If no issues are raised within 48 hours following the conclusion of your booking, the reservation is considered successfully completed. Payment is then released to the Host within 7 days.
