GOVENUE USER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Welcome to GoVenue! Before using our platform, please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

  1. ABOUT US AND OUR ROLE

1.1 Who We Are GoVenue is a digital marketplace operated by CSI Manchester Ltd t/a CSI Media, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 04823342, with its registered office at CSI Media, Riverside Court, Bollin Walk, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 1DL, United Kingdom.

1.2 Our Role GoVenue provides an intermediary platform for Guests and Hosts to facilitate bookings. We do not own, operate, or control the venues listed on our platform. Our role is solely to connect Guests with Hosts, and we do not assume any responsibility for the availability, condition, or safety of any venue, nor for any disputes arising between Guests and Hosts.

1.3 Governing Law These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

  1. DEFINITIONS

"Guest" – A user who books a venue via GoVenue.

"Host" – A venue owner or operator listing their venue on GoVenue.

"GoVenue Guarantee" – A policy governing disputes, refunds, and cancellations as determined by GoVenue.

"Platform" – The website and any associated applications provided by GoVenue.

"Escalation Procedures" – The formal process for handling disputes and issues between Guests and Hosts.

  1. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND USE

3.1 Eligibility You must be at least 18 years old to use GoVenue. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.

3.2 Account Security You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. GoVenue is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect your credentials.

3.3 Multiple Accounts Users may not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or policies. Violation may result in account suspension or termination.

  1. BOOKING TERMS

4.1 Booking Process Guests can browse venues and submit booking requests. Hosts have the right to accept or reject any booking request at their discretion.

4.2 Payment Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. Guests must pay in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed with the Host.

4.3 Cancellations and Refunds

Guest-Initiated Cancellations: Refunds will be subject to the cancellation policy set by the Host.

Host-Initiated Cancellations: If a Host cancels a confirmed booking, GoVenue may assist in facilitating an alternative booking but is not liable for any resulting inconvenience or costs.

GoVenue Guarantee: The commercial model of GoVenue allows us to provide support and mediation in disputes between Guests and Hosts. Any decisions made under the GoVenue Guarantee are final. Hosts or Guests who fail to comply with a final decision may be removed from the platform.

Host Rebookings Outside of GoVenue: If a Host cancels a booking on GoVenue and subsequently rebooks the same Guest directly outside the platform, they will be subject to immediate removal from the platform and liable for damages equivalent to ten (10) times the amount they have been found guilty of avoiding through direct booking.

  1. HOST RESPONSIBILITIES

5.1 Venue Listing Accuracy Hosts must ensure that all information provided about their venue is accurate. Misrepresentation may result in penalties or removal from the platform.

5.2 Compliance with Laws Hosts are responsible for ensuring that their venue complies with all relevant laws, including health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.

5.3 Insurance Hosts are strongly encouraged to have adequate insurance to cover liabilities arising from their venue bookings.

5.4 Guest Conduct & Venue Damage Hosts have the right to set rules for their venue and may claim compensation for damages caused by Guests. GoVenue is not responsible for resolving disputes related to damages.

  1. LIABILITY & DISCLAIMERS

6.1 Marketplace Disclaimer GoVenue acts only as a marketplace connecting Guests and Hosts. We are not responsible for:

The condition, safety, or legality of any venue.

Any accidents, injuries, or damages occurring at a booked venue.

The actions or omissions of Guests or Hosts.

6.2 Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoVenue and its affiliates disclaim all liability for any loss or damage resulting from your use of the platform.

  1. DISPUTES & ESCALATION PROCEDURES

7.1 Dispute Resolution Between Guests and Hosts If a dispute arises, GoVenue encourages direct resolution between the Guest and Host. If no agreement is reached, the dispute may be escalated.

7.2 Escalation to GoVenue Disputes can be submitted to GoVenue for review under the GoVenue Guarantee. The final decision made by GoVenue is binding, and failure to adhere to it may result in removal from the platform.

7.3 Legal Action If further legal action is required, it is the responsibility of the disputing parties to pursue appropriate legal avenues.

  1. REMOVAL FROM PLATFORM

GoVenue reserves the right to remove a Guest or Host from the platform under the following circumstances:

Failure to adhere to the final decision of the GoVenue Guarantee.

Repeated cancellations or failure to honor bookings.

Providing false information or fraudulent activity.

Violating platform policies or engaging in inappropriate behavior.

Circumventing the platform by canceling a booking to directly rebook the same Guest, which will result in a penalty of ten (10) times the lost revenue to GoVenue.

  1. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY

All user data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using GoVenue, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

  1. AMENDMENTS TO TERMS

GoVenue reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

  1. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
